Slum Missions

As a ministry, we focus a lot on nurturing underprivileged children in a number of slums and a few rural areas in the state of Tamil Nadu. The lives of these marginalized kids are often filled with stress and strain, losses and separations, abuse and molestation, loneliness and illness. Our efforts to bring hope to these children always aimed at meeting their deepest need to be loved and encouraged! The programs that we conduct with these children are based on a relational journey with them. Our missionaries who build a rapport with children naturally get accustomed to the personal pains and challenges, and thereby offer them personalized care, friendship and guidance.

Our weekly clubs, which are called Metro Life Centers, are conducted in community halls, homes, or in open-air facilities. And, the children who are part of these weekly meetings are encouraged and trained and equipped to emerge as leaders and agents of transformation.
